Flight cases must become lighter to save costs. Compo2 is a unique self-reinforced polypropylene honeycomb perfectly suited for this. Below you will find some specifications:
The Compo2 panels are composed out of two Curv skins combined with an self-reinforced polypropylene honeycomb core, joined together by adhesive bonding. The panels consist 100% of polypropylene (PP) and are consequently very cost effective. These ultralight weight panels are designed to meet the highest performance characteristics on impact and abrasion resistance. Besides the specific properties of the Curv based skins allow a temperature application of – 40°C without any loss of mechanical properties.
Self-reinforced polypropylene honeycomb Core with a density of 80 kg/m³.
Two Curv skins of 1 mm. Curv is a self-reinforced 100% polypropylene (PP) composite; it consists of a unique woven structure of stretched PP fibers.
Joined together by a high performing thermoplastic adhesive system.
The Compo2 panels are particularly suited for application in transport, packaging, temporary installations, partitioning systems and doors.
